These focus groups highlighted that skills from the original programme, like communicating through change, were still relevant, but also highlighted the need for new topics, such as how to communicate inclusively and how to handle tricky questions in a town hall. Having identified over 20 skills, they condensed these into three core learning areas, each with two modules. What’s more, they transformed each module into a 60-90-minute workshop, responding to the feedback that leaders couldn’t commit to the previous half-day sessions.
